COGG

The COGG project was an interesting one because it is a bi-lingual site with CMS integration. The design brief was to make the site more modern, cleaner and better image quality. Below is the before and after of the design. I did the cut up of the site and the overlay onto the Clearscape Control One CMS system. It involved close work with the developer as it was the first time we did a bi-lingual version of control one. When the site was built I held a training meeting with the clients to show them how to edit using Control One.

Control Equipment Ltd

The CEL job was to redesign an existing site to make it cleaner and for it to have more of a global appeal. A lot of the imagery wasn't up to standard so there was a good deal of image touch-up and manipulation to be done to make it fit in with the new design. It's a relatively small site, roughly 20 pages or so. Below is a before and after of the site design. After the design I created the skeleton of the site in HTML and one of the junior designers filled out the inside pages and content.

Venture Studios

Venture Studios is a new start up site due to go live before the end of the year. The company is involved in generating capital to fund Film in Ireland. I met with the clients at the outset to work on their idea for the site. They had some clear notions of what they wanted so it was quite easy to come up with a design they liked quickly. I did the cut up of the site as well and had to work with the client throughout to ensure relevant information was displayed correctly, before handing it to the developer to build the custom CMS elements. The site is part-CMS part-static and uses a forum component.

European Tour

This project is still in quite early days of design at the moment. The site started out as a re-design of PGGAETC.com but during meetings with the client it quickly became apparent that the project was more suitable to a complete re-build. Very little of the original content was remaining after we worked out what was needed in the new site. I worked out a new information structure with the client and designs were drawn from there. The new site will be a small sized portal site with basic information about the courses and destinations they are involved with. Initial design rounds are taking place at the moment.
