The Hook is a Leinster Hockey blog run by Stephen Findlater. I created the logo for Stephen some months ago and helped him from time to time with blog issues. When he decided he wanted to make the blog into a full site he contacted me and the Hook Hockey redesign project started.
The Hook blog is a blogger run blog and the project involved getting the current site transferred over to an installed wordpress blog. I met with Stephen to go through exactly what he wanted from the new site and then sent on my designs. These were approved and production began. The project is coming close to completion now with the new site expected to be finished over the summer.

I was approached during the summer about the possibility of doing a website for a Teachers Professional Network. I met with the client and prepared a proposal for the site design and build. The proposal was accepted and the designs worked out. The site went live mid-November, on schedule for their First Annual Conference.

This is a relatively new job I'm taking on. It's gone through design phase and the production phase will be starting quite shortly. It's a collaborative project for a redesign of Equestrian World site and will be built using wordpress. There will be an e-commerce end to it, possibly using zen cart.

Having done some work for Stephen in The Hook, a similar type blog owner approached me to do the logo for his site. Southern Fried Hockey is a Munster version of The Hook.

RedHotProductions is an event management company based in Dublin. In early 2007 I redesigned their website, RedHotProductions.ie to make it much more attractive to potential clients. As event production is all about big setups it was important to get as much imagary from the events as possible into the site and out to the customers.
I also did some event photography for the company, these images can be seen in the Oscars and Gangster Night photogallery onsite.

I took charge of the Botanic Hockey Club website back in 2002, since then it has taken on many shapes and forms, through various redesigns. The current site is php based and will shortly be converted to a Wordpress based site to allow for more member participation on the site in an effort to keep content fresh.
The site has been a huge success since its redesign and attracts 10+ new players annually to the small club. It was also very successful in promoting our initiative to get an astro pitch in St.Mary's school. The site tracked the pitch build in 'Pitch Watch' so everyone knew the latest news on the new pitch.
My Dad set up his own company, Practical Health & Safety Ltd recently and needed an online presence to get some information out there. I designed and built this small wordpress site so he could update content himself in future.

I was approached by teachers in St.Marys Secondary School to take on the project of designing a website for them. The aim of the website is to make it a resource for both parents and students currently in the school, with booklists, calenders etc on site. The site is built on wordpress to allow for content management. The project included initial scoping, design and build as well as training in wordpress editing.
